My primary side-hustle is ring making. Primarily, I make rings that include real pieces of history. For example, coal recovered from the Titanic, metal shavings from a piece of one of the Space Shuttles, Trinitite, Fordite, meteorite, etc.

Don’t worry, I’m not here to pimp my wares, but given Oppo’s obsession with the fanfuckingtastic SR-71 Blackbird I thought you all might appreciate this. I recently acquired a few pieces of titanium airframe from a Blackbird that went down in Texas in 1970 for the express purpose of incorporating it in a ring somehow. This is what I came up with. A black ceramic ring, with a center section of Blackbird titanium. It’s just a prototype at this point, but it turned out well enough that I think I’ll pursue perfecting it and produce a couple.

however the Blackbird ring isn’t listed, and won’t be until I work out getting the details JUST right.
